Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef/Grill Master to lead our culinary team and elevate our dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with proven leadership skills in a restaurant or hospitality environment. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality.
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes and other menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and proper handling of ingredients to maintain hygiene standards.
- Manage food inventory, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
- Serve as a leader in the kitchen, fostering teamwork, hospitality, and a positive work environment.
- Monitor customer feedback to ensure satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health codes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and restaurant management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Knowledge of the food industry trends, especially in grilling techniques and menu development.
- Exceptional communication skills with an emphasis on serving guests professionally and courteously.
- Prior experience in restaurant management or leadership roles is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates willing to grow into the position.
