Studio Experience Coordinator (Part-Time)

$20.00–22.00/hour | Approximately 20-25 hours/week
Positive Dance Experience is one of Toronto's leading boutique dance studios, dedicated to helping children and families feel connected, supported, and inspired through dance.
We're looking for someone who loves working with children, enjoys creating exceptional customer experiences, and wants to become the welcoming face of our studio.
This is much more than a front desk position. You'll help create memorable experiences for every family who walks through our doors.
Schedule
This position follows a consistent weekly schedule:
- Monday: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Thursday: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Additional paid opportunities are available through performances, birthday parties, camps, and special events.
What You'll Do
You'll be responsible for creating an outstanding experience for every family who visits our studio.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting dancers and families with warmth and professionalism
- Welcoming and supporting trial families
- Answering phones, emails, texts, and voicemails
- Assisting walk-in families with program information and registrations
- Supporting basic sales and customer service
- Managing front desk operations
- Opening and closing the studio
- Keeping the studio clean, organized, and welcoming
- Uploading photos and videos to Google Drive
- Managing daily Asana tasks
- Capturing new inquiries and handing them off to our Administrative Coordinator for follow-up
- Supporting special events and performances

Qualifications
Required
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification (or willingness to obtain before starting)
- Ability to respond calmly during emergencies
- Understanding of allergy awareness and emergency procedures
- Ability to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
- Comfortable using Gmail, Google Drive, and computers
Assets
- Experience working with children
- Dance experience or a passion for the performing arts
- Front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience
- Experience with Mindbody or similar booking software
