Accurate Transmissions & Auto Centre Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Automotive Technician for our Fleet Services. We are a fast paced shop and in high demand from our customers. As the ideal candidate you will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repairs, enjoy working in a team environment and communicate effectively with our team members.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Perform vehicle inspections and identify mechanical, electrical, and safety issues.
- Diagnose problems using computerized diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
- Repair and replace components such as brakes, suspension systems, steering components, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
-Conduct routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
- Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper operation.
- Complete repair orders and document work performed accurately.
- Communicate repair recommendations and vehicle status to service advisors and customers.
- Stay current with new automotive technologies and manufacturer training
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Obtain a valid BC driver’s license
· Red Seal Certification an asset but not mandatory
· Supply and maintain personal tools
· Be able to diagnose and repair all components of cars and light trucks
· Take pride in quality workmanship
· Be organized
· Have the ability to handle challenging situations
· Have the ability to meet tight deadlines
