Company Overview
We are a growing construction and asphalt company seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to help expand our commercial, municipal, and residential client base. The ideal candidate understands the construction industry, is confident preparing and managing tenders, and can build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and municipalities.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in construction, paving, and asphalt services
- Prepare, review, and submit tenders and project bids
- Meet with clients on-site to discuss project needs and provide estimates
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, municipalities, property managers, and commercial clients
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure project timelines and expectations are met
- Follow up on leads, quotes, and outstanding bids
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer communications, and tender submissions
- Attend networking events and industry meetings when required
Qualifications
- Experience in construction, asphalt, paving, road work, excavation, or related industries
- Previous sales or estimating experience preferred
- Knowledge of tendering and bid submission processes
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to read project specifications and drawings is an asset
- Self-motivated and organized with strong time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional evenings or weekends during peak season
Experience
- Construction Industry: 3 years preferred
- Sales: 2 years preferred
- Tender/Bid Preparation: 1 year preferred
