Job Summary
A1 Millwood is looking for an experienced cabinetmaker to join our team. This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone who already understands cabinet manufacturing and can contribute from day one with minimal training.
What You'll Do
- Manufacture and machine cabinet components.
- Operate a sliding table saw with a scoring blade for melamine and sheet goods.
- Apply edge banding to cabinet components.
- Program and operate a Biesse Rover 15 CNC or similar point to point CNC experience.
- Operate a horizontal boring machine for dowel construction.
- Use a dowel insertion machine.
- Cut and assemble drawer boxes.
- Read shop drawings and ensure components are manufactured accurately.
- Maintain quality standards and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and workflow.
What We're Looking For
- Several years of experience in a custom cabinet or architectural millwork shop.
- Strong understanding of frameless cabinet construction methods.
- Experience operating cabinet shop equipment independently.
- Ability to read drawings and understand manufacturing processes.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Someone who enjoys being part of a team and contributing ideas to improve production.
Preferred Experience
Experience with one or more of the following:
- Biesse Rover CNC equipment
- Horizontal boring machines
- Edge banders
- Dowel construction systems
- Sliding table saws with scoring blades
- Custom cabinetry or architectural millwork manufacturing
