Position Overview
We are seeking a Lead Engineering Teacher to deliver engaging STEM programs to children aged 4–14. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education, enjoys working with kids, and has a background or strong interest in engineering or STEM fields.
As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for program delivery, classroom management, mentoring instructors, and ensuring a high-quality learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver interactive STEM-based classes, camps, and workshops
- Teach engineering concepts through hands-on activities and projects
- Manage classroom behavior in a positive and engaging way
- Train and support assistant instructors
- Prepare materials and ensure lessons run smoothly
- Communicate effectively with parents and program coordinators
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and fun learning environment
Qualifications
- Experience working with children (teaching, coaching, camp counseling, etc.)
- Background or strong interest in engineering, science, or STEM education
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Energetic, reliable, and enthusiastic personality
- Ability to pass a criminal record check
Preferred (Not Required)
- Teaching certification or education background
- Engineering or technical degree (completed or in progress)
- Experience with robotics, coding, or hands-on STEM activities
