Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience working on all brands of cars, light trucks and SUV's. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles , ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The technician will utilize a wide range of tools and technical knowledge to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on automobiles.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and system inspections.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately.
- Repair or replace mechanical components using welding, electrical skills, or specialized assembly techniques.
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical systems and mechanical failures across all makes and models
- Work with team to provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or service technician with dealership or independent shop experience preferred..
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic software effectively.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Experience working with automotive repair systems and understanding of vehicle electronics and assemblies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues accurately.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license required; relevant certifications or licenses are a plus.
