This position is based at our head office in Ville Saint-Laurent.
OBJECTIFS
The IT business analyst links the IT teams with the business departments, taking on more responsibility for managing small end-to-end projects, while bringing key expertise in supply chain and EDI integration. They actively take part in Agile delivery using Kanban, acting as a facilitator within the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct interviews with stakeholders to gather and clarify business needs
- Lead or participate in project planning (scope, timelines, deliverables)
- Act as a functional reference for supply chain processes and EDI integrations
- Document functional and non-functional requirements
- Analyze, prioritize, and align needs with business goals
- Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and external partners to design effective solutions
- Produce detailed specifications for new systems and improvements
- Facilitate design workshops with development teams
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure objectives are met
- Track initiative progress and communicate status to stakeholders
- Develop and execute test strategies (including UAT)
- Ensure deliverable quality and compliance
Agile Responsibilities (Kanban / “Light” Scrum Master)
- Help with delivery in an Agile environment (Kanban mode)
- Join team rituals (stand-ups, prioritization, retrospectives)
- Help keep workflow smooth and remove blockers
- Work closely with the development team and stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in computer science, information systems, business analysis, or a related field
- 5 to 10 years of experience in business analysis
- 1 to 2 years of experience in project management or coordination
- Hands-on experience with EDI integrations
- Extensive experience and knowledge in supply chain
- Experience with an ERP (ideally Epicor)
