Student-Centered, Creative Educator ( 2 positions Available for the 2026-27 School year.) Grades 4/5 and 6/7.
Location: Okotoks, AB, Canada
Start Date: August 18th, 2026
The Position
We are thrilled to announce two full-time openings for passionate, student-centered teachers eager to join a vibrant, forward-thinking learning community. At our school, we employ Socratic methodologies to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and self-directed learning. Our teachers don’t just instruct—they empower students to become confident, independent advocates for their own learning journeys.
With small class sizes, ( MAX 14), and low student-to-teacher ratios, our educators have the rare opportunity to build deep, meaningful relationships with students and truly tailor their instruction to individual growth and goals.
We’re seeking teachers who also bring enthusiasm for interdisciplinary and creative teaching opportunities—from art-based and social-emotional learning to music-integrated lessons and beyond. This is an ideal environment for educators who:
- Thrive on innovation and collaboration.
- Love exploring multiple ways to engage and challenge students.
- Are eager to bring new ideas to life in a supportive, close-knit school community.
If you’re an imaginative, adaptable teacher who believes learning should be as dynamic and unique as the students themselves, we’d love to meet you. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to help shape self-motivated learners and make a lasting impact every single day.

- Design and adapt curriculum with care and empathy, ensuring it reflects the diverse identities, strengths, and passions of individual learners.
- Foster student-centered, collaborative learning experiences that prioritize belonging, choice, and active participation.
- Partner with students to create authentic learning product forms that express both deep understanding and personal insight.
- Lead an interest-based options class that empowers students to explore an area of your interest, guiding them to design meaningful projects that connect learning to real-world contexts and personal goals in a supportive and fun environment.
- Provide responsive, relationship-driven individual and small-group instruction rooted in research and informed by ongoing observation and dialogue.
- Collaborate with colleagues in a spirit of trust and shared purpose to nurture a cohesive, caring learning community.
- Communicate openly and compassionately with families, maintaining consistent, strengths-based conversations about student growth and development
