Our Intern program spans two semesters (Sept-April) and encompasses a combination of virtual psychotherapy with individual clients, and project work. Project work can include resource creation, research, and writing (ie: blogs, mental health email campaigns, and other initiatives we may be taking on at a given time).
To support our students, we provide a structured Intern Handbook, monthly supervisor evaluation/feedback for students to complete, and opportunities to learn from other therapists. We have a robust virtual platform which allows you to get real-time session feedback from your supervisor using a secure voice note program.
We also offer formal therapeutic modality trainings (like Brainspotting, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Somatic Experiencing therapy, a mini masterclasses on documentation for therapy, how to complete successful 20min consultations).

CLASSIFICATION: MSW Intern Counsellor - Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Master's in Social Work Program.
