INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROLS TECHNICIAN

We are currently seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role that blends automation programming, troubleshooting, manufacturing support, commissioning, and customer service. What you’ll be doing
- Develop and troubleshoot PLC logic and automation control systems
- Support design activities including electrical drawings, logic documentation, and technical manuals
- Perform testing, calibration, commissioning, and startup support
- Troubleshoot control systems, instrumentation, and operational issues
- Provide technical support to customers by phone, email, remotely, and on-site
- Assist with panel assembly, wiring, soldering, and product manufacturing activities
- Support shipping, receiving, inventory, and operational coordination as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
What you bring
- Diploma, apprenticeship, or trade certification in Instrumentation, Electrical, Automation, or related field
- Experience with automation, instrumentation, or control systems
- PLC programming experience and strong troubleshooting ability
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- CAD proficiency and strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Windows environments)
- Strong hands-on mechanical and technical aptitude
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail, accountability, and initiative
