Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Insurance Account Representative to join our team. Duties
- Develop new client relationships through outside sales efforts and community engagement
- Manage retail sales channels to promote insurance products and services
- Conduct telemarketing campaigns to generate leads and follow up with prospective clients
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining policy options, and assisting with claims processes
- Analyze client needs to recommend appropriate insurance coverage options
- Negotiate policy terms and premiums to meet client expectations while aligning with company guidelines
- Assist with marketing initiatives to expand brand awareness and attract new customers
- Handle sales administration tasks including documentation, policy processing, and record keeping
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual in french or arabic is highly desirable
- Excellent analysis skills to assess client needs and recommend suitable policies
- Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales confidently
- Customer service orientation with a professional demeanor
- Experience with telemarketing or marketing strategies is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills for managing sales administration tasks
- Multilingual abilities are considered an asset for serving diverse communities

If you do not have an OTL, RIBO, or equivalent Insurance license, you must be able to obtain the OTL license. Licensing and training fees will be covered by employer.
This position is a full-time position that comes with a salary, benefits, and commission based on sales.
