Position Overview
This role is the face and first impression of Fuel Nexus. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming and professional experience for customers, guests, and team members while supporting the day-to-day operations of our downtown Calgary office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in administration, office operations, customer service, or executive support. The successful candidate will have opportunities to learn, develop, and potentially grow into an Executive Administrative role as the company expands.
What You'll Do
Reception & Customer Experience
- Welcome clients, guests, and visitors with professionalism and warmth
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries
- Coordinate visitor access and meeting room scheduling
- Support customer communication and follow-up as required
- Help maintain a positive and professional customer experience
Office Operations
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment
- Coordinate office supplies, kitchen inventory, and common areas
- Assist with meeting setup and hospitality for clients and guests
- Support office events, team functions, and customer meetings
- Work with vendors and service providers as needed
Administrative Support
- Assist with scheduling, calendar coordination, and travel arrangements
- Prepare documents, presentations, reports, and correspondence
- Maintain records, filing systems, and office databases
- Support leadership and various departments with administrative tasks
- Assist with special projects and company initiatives
What We're Looking For
Required
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
Preferred
- Previous experience in customer service, reception, administration, or office support
- Experience working in a professional office environment
- Experience coordinating schedules, meetings, or events
- Knowledge of business operations or administration

Pay: $20.50-$24.00 per hour
