Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Part-Time Tool Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tool and compressor repairs. This role requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing and repairing various tools and compressors. The Repair Technician will also provide exceptional customer service while working collaboratively with team members.
Duties
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain tools and small engines/compressors.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding repairs and services offered.
- Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and customer satisfaction.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed during repair tasks.
Requirements
- Previous tool repair experience is required
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in tool repairs
- Familiarity with schematics is required
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients.
- Must be capable of heavy lifting as part of routine job duties.
