Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Electrician to oversee electrical projects, ensure compliance with safety standards, and lead electrical installation and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and industrial wiring, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately. This role requires a strong leadership presence and the ability to manage complex electrical tasks in construction and industrial environments.
Duties
- Lead and supervise electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance across various projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute electrical work accurately.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage systems, power tools, and industrial electrical equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete electrical tasks.
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate electrical aspects of projects.
- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and technical manuals; perform troubleshooting as needed.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, inspections, and compliance reports.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentices or junior electricians on site.
Requirements
- Valid Master Electrician license or certification as required by local regulations.
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and low voltage systems.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Experience working with industrial wiring systems and construction projects.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and apply them in practical settings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and adherence to safety protocols.
