We are looking for a 310B Journeyman Auto Body Repair Technician to work on Heavy Trucks.
Responsibilities:

Repair and replace body components, doors, suspension/driveline components, and underbody components.

Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers.

Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams.

Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.

File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools.
-
Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.

Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows and sunroofs.
-
Repair or replace interior components, such as seat frame assembly, carpets and floorboard insulation.
Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling.

Full time, occasional overtime required depending on project.

Working with sharp metals and power tools Skills and Abilities.

Proper lifting techniques to handle heavy tools and parts (up to 50lbs).

Dexterity and hand skills to perform technical repairs.

Good colour vision.

Knowledge of plastics, electronics, metals, finishes and vehicle systems.
Qualifications:
-
5+ years experience as an Auto Body Technician.

Journeyman Certification as a 310B Auto Body Repair Technician.

Strong understanding of automotive body repair, panel work, and structural repairs.

Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
-
Mechanical knowledge is highly beneficial.

Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency.
