At Little Schoolhouse Garden Design & Landscaping, we design, build, and care for beautiful residential gardens across Eastern Ontario. Our work is detail-focused, plant-driven, and built around creating outdoor spaces our clients truly enjoy.
We are currently looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join our Garden Landscape Team for the upcoming season.
You don’t need years of experience — we’re happy to train the right person who shows up, works hard, and takes pride in doing things properly.
Position Overview
This is a hands-on outdoor position working as part of a friendly, professional team. You’ll be helping with planting, garden care, and maintaining residential properties to a high standard.
If you enjoy physical work, fresh air, and seeing the results of your effort at the end of each day, you’ll likely enjoy this role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Weeding and cultivating garden beds
- Planting perennials, shrubs, and seasonal flowers
- Spreading soil and mulch
- Edging garden beds cleanly
- Watering and general plant care
- Assisting with pruning and garden maintenance
- Using hand tools and small equipment safely
We will teach you proper techniques and plant care as you grow with the team.

Experience is helpful — but attitude and reliability matter more to us.
Job Details
- Seasonal position: Early April to mid-November
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday (no weekends)
- Overtime available when needed

Qualifications
- High school diploma or currently enrolled (student roles available)
- Driver’s license (G or G2) is helpful but not required
- Previous outdoor, landscaping, or labour experience is an asset
- Previous Landscaping/Horticulture experience is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
