Absolute Home Services is a home services company established in 2012, that offers clients a one-stop shop for home renovations, handyman services, landscaping services and painting. Our head office is located in Burlington but we operate primarily in Burlington, Oakville and Mississauga. We focus on delivering our clients excellent customer service while providing them with high quality work. Job Purpose
- The Project Manager of Home Improvement is responsible for various home projects from small little projects home owners need to as big as full bathrooms, kitchens, and basements. The Project Manager is responsible for the quoting and sales of these projects, and then ensuring the crew knows what to do and ultimately that the customer is getting an end result that they are happy with. They are the main lead on customer experience throughout the project, while the crew is completing the project.
Duties and responsibilities
The Project Manager is responsible for providing customers with quotes on various home renovation projects. They are also responsible for ensuring the project is completed on budget and beyond the customer’s satisfaction.
The duties and responsibilities include:
- Meeting clients to review their needs and scope of work
- Providing accurate estimates for scope of work
- Creating work orders for employees and subcontractors
- Managing employees and subcontractors
- Ordering and delivering materials and tools
- Ensuring the work is completed on budget
- Inspecting all work to ensure professional quality and customer satisfaction.
- Measuring and creating margin on each job.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has experience in small and big home improvement projects. Candidates must understand the process of these renovations in order to quote projects and understand various materials involved. Leadership and sales experiences is also a plus. We are looking for customer-oriented individuals that can work with home owners through the entirety of a project. The candidate must also have good written communication and be very organized as to manage sales, production, and people.
Qualifications include:
- University degree or College Diploma
- 5+ years of home improvement experience
- Driver’s license
- Previous leadership/management experience
Hours/Compensation
Compensation is based on experience and ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 to start with the ability to earn additional annual bonuses based on margin generated.
Other benefits include medical and dental after a probationary period and vehicle mileage.
Hours are variable through the year. This position requires someone with the ability to work up to 60 hours per week with some evening and weekend work required depending on the season.
