Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and people-oriented Admissions Coordinator to support prospective students from inquiry to enrollment.
This role focuses on guiding students through their decisions, answering questions, and providing clear direction throughout the admissions process. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling a high volume of inquiries and follow-ups in a structured, student-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to student inquiries (phone, email, online) in a timely manner
- Guide applicants through the admissions process and provide accurate information
- Support marketing and lead generation activities to help improve lead quality and enrollment conversion
- Conduct consistent follow-ups to support student decision-making
- Build rapport and understand student needs to recommend suitable programs
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries and applications
- Coordinate with internal teams to support onboarding and placement requirements
- Support info sessions and outreach activities
- Contribute to enrollment outcomes through effective communication
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ year experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., customer service, education, client support, admissions, or similar)
- Experience handling inquiries, follow-ups, or guiding clients through a process
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and explain information clearly
- Comfortable managing a high volume of calls and messages
- Organized and able to track multiple applicants at different stages
- Experience in education or student services is an asset, but not required
- Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
Compensation
Base salary of $40,000 - $48,000 per year
Performance-based commission based on overall performance
