Responsibilities
- Assist with administering student assessments and progress evaluations to track learning development
- Grade completed assignments accurately and provide constructive feedback to students
- Support instructors in preparing teaching materials and organizing classroom activities
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure clarity on progress and expectations
- Maintain a clean, organized learning environment that promotes focus and engagement
- Support the implementation of Kumon’s curriculum by following established procedures and standards
- Encourage a positive attitude towards learning, fostering confidence and independence in students
Skills
- Experience working with children or in an educational setting, such as tutoring or classroom assistance
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and team members
- Knowledge of tutoring or teaching methodologies that motivate young learners
- Attention to detail for grading assignments accurately and providing meaningful feedback
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a dynamic environment while maintaining professionalism
