Overview
We are seeking a skilled Production Welder specializing in FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding processes, mechanical knowledge, and experience working with various fabrication tools and equipment. Duties
- Perform FCAW and GMAW welding on various metal components according to blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure precise fabrication
- Operate plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and other fabrication tools
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure accurate assembly and fit-up
- Rigging materials and components safely for welding or assembly processes
- Assist with machining tasks as needed, including using basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Conduct welding inspections to verify quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to safety protocols and procedures
Experience
- Proven experience in MIG welding, TIG welding, and FCAW/GMAW welding techniques within a manufacturing or construction setting
- Mechanical knowledge related to assembly, ductwork, and construction processes
- Familiarity with crane operation, forklift handling, and material rigging is preferred
- Experience with plasma cutting, press brake machines, machining tools, schematics interpretation, and blueprint reading is highly desirable
- Ability to use calipers, hand tools, power tools, and basic math for precise measurements and assembly tasks
- Prior experience working with manufacturing standards related to ductwork or structural fabrication is a plus
- Knowledge of schematics, assembly procedures, and construction practices will be advantageous

Pay: $18.40-$26.00 per hour
