Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver packages in Port Hawkesbury, NS area.
Associates/Drivers strive to get every package to the customer’s door on-time. We offer full-time opportunity.
Company vehicle will be provided between 8-10 hours per day and are available 5 days per week.
(weekend may required during peak season)
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Be Customer friendly!! We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers.
· Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
· Use a handheld device for routing information, customer delivery information.
· Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area.
· Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Load and unload packages to be delivered
· Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation and able to work under minimum supervison
· Lift packages up to 70 lbs and flexible during shifts.
· Able to get in and out of the van and walk up and down stairs through your shift.
Compensation & Benefits as per experience!
Basic Requirements:
· Eligible to work in Canada
· Class 5 driver license (5 years driving experience preferred)
· Successfully pass a pre-employment driving record background check
· Successfully pass a fingerprints based background check
Job Type: Full-time
