Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinet Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately installing cabinets and related fixtures in residential and commercial spaces, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to ensure precise cabinet placement and alignment
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install cabinets using hand tools and power tools with attention to detail
- Ensure proper attachment of cabinets to walls, floors, or other structures using appropriate hardware and techniques
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate installation schedules and address any on-site challenges
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling tools and materials
- Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to verify fit, finish, and functionality
Requirements
- Proven experience in cabinet installation or related carpentry roles within construction or renovation projects
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Proficiency with hand tools (saws, drills, screwdrivers) and power tools used in cabinetry work
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and material calculations is a plus
- Experience with other trades such as plumbing, electrical work, masonry or roofing is advantageous but not required
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and craftsmanship
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
