The Role
-
We are seeking a motivated ArchViz CAD Technician- Level 2 Professional who is responsible for producing high-quality static and interactive 2D floor plans and site plans for residential real estate projects using customer-provided building plans, site plans, and technical specifications. This role requires advanced expertise in CAD software, strong logical thinking, sound visual and technical judgment, and the ability to lead complex plan integration projects while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and operational efficiency.

The ArchViz CAD Technician- Level 2 will also support process optimization and contribute to maintaining high production standards across all deliverables.
What You’ll Do

Evaluate, organize, and validate architectural plans, technical drawings, and customer documents for residential development projects;

Prepare, clean, standardize, and import plans into AutoCAD, Illustrator, and internal software systems;

Lead the integration and assembly of complex house plan options, elevations, and site configurations;

Create, modify, and optimize 2D floor plans and site plans with strong attention to visual quality and technical accuracy;

Cut, paste, adjust, and integrate various housing components using internal applications and visual tools;

Apply advanced aesthetic finishing to plans using Illustrator and other graphic tools to meet company visual standards;

Ensure all plans comply with internal quality standards, project requirements, and delivery timelines;

Identify inconsistencies, missing information, and technical issues within customer-provided documents and propose solutions proactively;

Assess time needed for revisions;

Collaborate closely with project managers, production teams, and clients to clarify technical requirements;

Improve workflows, templates, and production methods to increase efficiency and accuracy;

Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to junior CAD integrators and team members;

Participate in quality assurance reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Bring

3+ years of experience reading and interpreting residential architectural plans (detached homes, town homes, multi-family low-rise buildings preferred);

Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Illustrator;

Strong understanding of 2D drafting standards, floor plan composition, and site plan integration;

Excellent ability to visualize spatial and architectural information accurately;

Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills;
-
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment;
-
Experience working with repetitive yet detail-sensitive production tasks while maintaining high quality standards;

Logical and analytical mindset with the ability to learn and use internal visual software tools;

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities;
-
Intermediate to advanced English communication skills (spoken and written);

Comfortable communicating through video conferencing, email, and digital collaboration tools;
-
Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
