Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and contribute to a variety of outdoor projects. This role involves assisting with landscape construction, site preparation, and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic environment. Prior experience in construction or landscaping is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to develop their expertise in this field.
Duties
- Assist with landscape installation including planting, grading, and soil preparation
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks
- Support construction activities such as concrete forming, masonry, and carpentry work as needed
- Perform site cleanup and prepare work areas for ongoing or upcoming projects
- Assist with heavy equipment operation under supervision for tasks like excavation or material transport
- Contribute to restoration projects including landscaping repairs and general site maintenance
- Support installation of features such as fencing, pathways, or irrigation systems
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
Skills
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, masonry, concrete finishing, and tile laying preferred
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and construction painting is a plus
- Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, welding, flooring installation, and cabinetry is beneficial
- Ability to interpret technical drawings such as schematics and construction plans
- Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to learn new skills related to restoration, caulking, masonry, or other specialized trades
