Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Assistant to join our clothing store. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, assist with product merchandising, and support sales initiatives in a dynamic retail environment. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Conduct product demos and explain features to promote sales of technology and other merchandise
- Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays and ensuring products are well-stocked and attractive
- Operate POS systems for cashiering, including cash handling and processing transactions accurately
- Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are properly labeled and accessible
- Provide information on store promotions, policies, and product specifications
- Manage phone inquiries professionally, providing excellent phone etiquette and timely assistance
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and basic math calculations for pricing and stock levels
Skills
- Grass cutting, snow removal, whipper snipping
- Cleaning toilets, floors, etc
- Assisting office admin
- Multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs
- Strong communication skills for engaging with customers effectively
- Experience in retail sales, merchandising, or technology sales preferred
- Bilingual proficiency (English required) to assist a broad customer base
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures
- Ability to demonstrate products confidently through demos and technical explanations
- Excellent organizational skills to manage time efficiently during busy periods
- Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
- Basic math skills for transactions, pricing, and inventory management

Pay: $15.00-$15.25 per hour
