We are a custom cabinets manufacturer located in Mississauga, ON. Our growth has created opportunities for a full time Senior Interior Designer/Project Manager.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have strong communication skills as well interpersonal skills, written & oral
- Degree in Interior Design from an accredited school
- 6 Years of experience with commercial, residential interior design (specialty in closet, kitchen and bath)
- Proficiency in Sketch-up, Microsoft software, AutoCAD
- Candidate must be highly detailed, organized and be able to handle multiple tasking
- Must be confident, creative, have knowledge of the interior design market trend, textiles, and construction details
- Must be a team player, reliable, punctual, friendly & have an outgoing personality.
- A self-starter, must have passion for design, and the willingness to continue for advancement
- Ability to complete projects by deadlines; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to handle customers' complaints calmly and ensure customer satisfaction.
Job duties:
· Meeting with clients at their homes or our showroom for initial consultations
· Taking initial site measurements for design concept purposes
· Preparing and presenting quotes based on design concept (we have in house estimators that will provide quotes)
· Finalizing designs with clients (choosing cabinet styles/colours/hardware/etc.)
· Preparing shop drawings in AutoCAD that are ready for manufacturing purposes
· Ensuring client is up to date with payment schedule
· Meeting with clients in our manufacturing plant to walk through cabinets before installation
· Coordinating the schedule with our service and installation team
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
