Position Overview
Fresh Looks Striping is looking for hardworking, dependable, and safety-focused Pavement Marking Technician to join our team. This role involves performing pavement marking work on parking lots, municipal roadways, and other public infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, traffic control requirements, and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate pavement marking and line striping equipment.
- Measure, lay out, and apply parking lot, roadway, warehouse, and municipal pavement markings.
- Apply traffic paint, durable markings, symbols, legends, bike lane markings, crosswalks, and other roadway markings.
- Load, unload, clean, and maintain company vehicles, equipment, and materials.
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Follow all company safety policies, Ministry of Transportation requirements, and municipal regulations.
- Travel to various job sites throughout the GTA and surrounding areas.
- Work collaboratively with crew members, supervisors, inspectors, and municipal representatives.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in line painting, road marking, asphalt, traffic control, or related industries is an asset but not required.
- Valid Ontario G Driver's License
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and perform physically demanding work.
- Ability to travel to various job sites throughout Ontario.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Reliable transportation to and from designated meeting locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Book 7 Traffic Control knowledge and experience.
- Experience setting up lane closures and work zones on municipal roads.
- Experience operating line striping equipment, such as Greco 3400/3900.
- Experience towing trailers and operating commercial vehicles.
