Overview
Tahltan NST Busing is seeking reliable, safety‑focused Motor Coach Operators to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting passengers between Terrace, BC and a remote mine site while delivering a professional and comfortable travel experience.
We are looking for operators who take pride in safety, customer service, and maintaining a high standard of professionalism on every trip.
Note:
Due to scheduling requirements, preference will be given to candidates residing in the local area.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate motor coaches safely and efficiently in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies
- Transport passengers between Terrace and the mine site, ensuring reliable and on‑time service
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and passenger‑ready coach
- Assist passengers with boarding, luggage, and general inquiries
- Communicate clearly regarding schedules, route changes, and safety information
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure the well‑being of passengers and crew
- Complete trip records including mileage, fuel usage, and incident reports

Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 or Class 2 Driver’s Licence with air brake endorsement
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and pre‑trip inspections
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional, courteous, and safety‑focused attitude
- Previous motor coach or commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screening
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including extended hours
Pay: $360.00-$400.00 per day
