Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting goods over short distances while adhering to all safety regulations.
Duties:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver appliances to various locations with the help of helper
- Load and unload appliances using appropriate equipment
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
- Follow all state and national safety regulations and standards
Requirements:
- Valid class 5 driver's license
- Proven work experience as a Straight Truck Driver 26 feet for at least one year
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Excellent customer service skills
- Capable of heavy lifting and moving appliance upto 150lbs
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
