Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and availability for food preparation and service
- Assist with basic food handling and meal preparation tasks under supervision, ensuring proper food safety protocols are followed
- Keep kitchen work areas tidy, sanitized, and organized to promote a safe and efficient environment
- Support the food service team by restocking supplies and assisting with light food prep when needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling procedures are adhered to within the kitchen area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service times
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Knowledge of basic cooking, meal preparation, and food handling practices is a plus
