This is a full-time permanent Labour & Delivery RN position in an acute care hospital setting.
Position Details

Requirements
- Active Canadian or U.S. RN license
- NCLEX-RN passed
- Canadian citizenship required for TN Visa Sponsorship
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labour & Delivery RN experience in an acute care hospital
- Experience caring for laboring patients and postpartum mothers
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certifications preferred or required based on facility
Labour & Delivery Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor using advanced assessment and fetal monitoring techniques
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and obstetric procedures
- Recognize and respond appropriately to obstetric emergencies and changes in patient condition
- Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, recovery, newborn care, and discharge planning
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety and infection prevention standards
