We're a digital marketing agency helping local service and blue-collar businesses grow junk removal, dumpster rental, roofing, HVAC, lawn care, construction, and more. We're looking for a media buyer who runs both Google and Meta, knows how to actually move the needle for service businesses in competitive local markets, and treats every dollar of ad spend like it's their own.
This isn't a "set it and forget it" role. You'll own strategy, build, optimization, and reporting across Google and Meta for our client accounts. You'll have a full team behind you, designers, copywriters, landing page developers, video editors, and automation specialists, so you can focus on what you do best: running ads that generate qualified leads and phone calls.
We're not looking for someone who's just managed paid ads. We're looking for someone who's gotten real results for real local business owners and can prove it on both platforms.
What you'll do:
- Build, launch, and optimize Google Ads campaigns (Search, Performance Max, Display) and Meta Ads campaigns (Leads, Engagement, Traffic, Awareness) across Facebook and Instagram
- Conduct keyword research, write ad copy, and manage negative keyword lists on the search side; develop creative briefs and direction in partnership with our video editing and design team on the social side
- Set up and maintain conversion tracking via GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Conversions API (CAPI), and call tracking platforms.
- Manage budgets across multiple accounts and optimize for cost per qualified lead, not just clicks or form fills
- Run geo-targeting and dayparting strategies specific to local service markets
- Build audience strategy on Meta (cold acquisition, retargeting layers, lookalikes, custom audiences, warm follower retargeting) and bid strategy on Google
- Write or revise landing page hero copy when offer alignment requires it you're not just flagging issues, you're solving them
- Quality-check the full ad-to-conversion experience. If the offer in the ad doesn't match the landing page hero, you stop the launch
- Project-manage cross-team handoffs (creative → dev → automation → buyer) so campaigns ship without bottlenecks
- Own client email communication for your accounts' weekly performance updates, proactive flags when something needs attention, and monthly performance reviews
- Audit existing client accounts and identify quick wins, structural issues, and long-term growth opportunities
- Deliver clear, honest reporting on performance and proactively communicate strategy changes
- Stay ahead of platform updates, signal loss adaptations, attribution changes, and emerging features on both Google and Meta
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing both Google Ads and Meta Ads for local service businesses (blue-collar industries like roofing, HVAC, junk removal, dumpster rental, and lawn care strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated results on both platforms. You can show us accounts you've grown, leads you've generated, and cost-per-lead numbers you've driven down — with case studies from each
- Strong analytical mindset. You read data, draw conclusions, and act on them
- Solid understanding of GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Conversions API (CAPI), event signal ladder, and attribution windows
- Experience with creative testing frameworks (different hooks, formats, primary text vs headline isolation) and Google ad copy testing
- Familiarity with Google Local Service Ads is a plus
- Available for live collaboration during 7 AM – 4 PM Eastern, Monday through Friday
- Comfortable tracking hours in Hubstaff, we use it for visibility, not surveillance
- Comfortable owning accounts end-to-end without hand-holding
- Clear communicator who hits deadlines and tells the truth about performance, even when it's bad news
- Operator mentality: You catch problems before launch, not after a client complaint
- Someone who wants to grow with the company, not just clock hours
Skills: Google Ads, Meta Ads, Performance Max, Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Conversions API (CAPI), conversion tracking, call tracking, audience strategy, signal ladder events, attribution, creative testing, keyword research, bid strategy, copywriting, local lead generation
To apply, please include:
- Case studies or examples of accounts you've managed on both Google and Meta (anonymized is fine). Include industry, monthly ad spend range, and key results like CPL, conversion volume, lead-to-close rate, and ROAS
- A brief note on your specific role in each account (full ownership, support, audit, etc.)
Note: Shortlisted candidates will complete a short skills test, a sample account audit, or a campaign build scenario on both platforms to demonstrate strategic thinking and cross-platform proficiency.
Pay: From $3,000.00 per month
Work Location: Remote
