Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender/Food Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by preparing and serving beverages and food, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Take and serve drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Restaurant Manager/ SkyTab.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cashiering and cash handling duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards.
- Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
- Manage multiple tables or bar orders efficiently while maintaining a high level of service quality.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after shifts as needed.
- Support team members during busy hours to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant.
- Working with ALC Video Lotto Terminals, performing cash transactions for ticket redemptions, ensuring operations of technical equipment, assisting guests using the VLT's.
Requirements
- Previous bar/ restaurant experience is preferred, especially in food service or hospitality roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as RM POS/ SkyTab or similar platforms.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tables or drink orders simultaneously.
- Math skills for cash handling, billing, and making change accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Flexibility to work evenings/ nights, weekends, or holidays as needed; availability for serving shifts is essential.
- Applicants must be 19 years of age or older.
- Professional references for past positions in Food and Beverage industry required.
