SUMMARY OF POSITION
TTR Transport is looking for an energetic individual that has previous experience with working in the logistics industry as a Safety & Compliance Manager reporting the Director of Safety. Individuals will be responsible for a wide range of items including but not limited to onboarding new drivers, road test completion, monitoring and assisting drivers with ELOG issues, assisting drivers with any safety related matter.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Must have previous experience as AZ driver or AZ trainer
- Must understand the hours of service rules for both Canada and USA
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent skills with Microsoft Suites
RESPONSIBILITY (not limited to):
- Train new drivers on road safety rules and regulations highlighted by the company as well as DOT and MTO
- Input driver information into database
- Work with drivers to fix their ELOG handle Logbook related issues
- Work with drivers to highlight safety measure highlighted by customers
- Handle safety report from drivers
- Previous experience with Samsara is an asset
- Be flexible enough to handle ELOG inquires afterhours when required
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: $46,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
