Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage therapy services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to customize therapy sessions effectively.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices.
- Schedule appointments, manage client flow, and ensure timely service delivery.
- Uphold professional standards of conduct and confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with relevant certifications or licenses.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and answer client questions professionally.
- Ability to create a relaxing environment that fosters trust and comfort for clients.
- Valid state licensure or certification as required by local regulations.
