We are actively seeking an experienced CNC Mill Setter with a strong background in precision machining, aerospace manufacturing, and complex CNC milling operations.

What You'll Be Doing
As a CNC Mill Setter, you will be responsible for setting up CNC milling machines and ensuring production runs efficiently while maintaining strict quality standards.
Responsibilities include:
Complete CNC mill setups for production runs
Verify tooling, fixtures, offsets, and machine readiness
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CNC programs
Perform first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and other precision measuring equipment
Troubleshoot setup and machining issues to minimize downtime
Maintain tight tolerances and exceptional quality standards
Support continuous improvement initiatives
Follow all safety and manufacturing procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
What We're Looking For
Minimum 5 years of CNC Mill Setter experience
7+ years preferred within aerospace manufacturing, medical device manufacturing, defense manufacturing, nuclear manufacturing, or other precision machining environments
Strong blueprint reading and engineering drawing interpretation skills
Experience working with tight-tolerance machined components
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Strong understanding of precision measuring equipment
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Machinist certification considered an asset
High School Diploma or GED
Precision Machinist with experience in:
Aerospace Manufacturing
Defense Manufacturing
Medical Device Manufacturing
Nuclear Manufacturing
Precision Machining
