Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate ECA (Early Childhood Assistant) Staff members to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves supporting early childhood education programs, assisting with classroom activities, and providing a nurturing environment for young children. Ideal candidates will have a passion for working with children and a desire to make a positive impact on their development. Prior experience in early childhood education or caregiving is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidates.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily classroom activities and lesson plans
- Support children’s social, emotional, and educational development through engaging interactions
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Provide care and supervision to children during various activities, including playtime, meals, and rest periods
- Foster positive relationships with children and parents to promote a welcoming atmosphere
Skills
- Prior classroom experience or working with children is preferable
- Strong teaching and caregiving skills with patience and empathy
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Reliable, responsible, and committed to creating a safe learning environment
Pay: $17.60 per hour
