We are seeking a talented Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair cutting, styling, and grooming services, along with excellent customer service skills.
Duties
- Provide professional barbering and hairstyling services including cuts, trims, blowouts, and styling tailored to client preferences
- Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading
- Apply color theory principles for coloring services and execute color corrections as needed
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
- Assist clients with product recommendations and retail sales to enhance their salon experience
- Support store management tasks when required, including inventory management and store organization
Requirements
- Proven experience in hair styling, barbering, or related beauty services with knowledge of hair colouring and styling techniques
- Strong communication skills to engage clients professionally and effectively
- Knowledge of sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Ability to perform retail maths for up selling products confidently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanour and attention to detail
