Property Marketing & Booking Coordinator (Independent Contractor)
Location: Lower Mainland, British Columbia (Remote)
Job Type: Independent Contractor
Compensation: Commission-based compensation equal to 15% of qualifying revenue generated through confirmed bookings and contracts secured through the contractor's efforts.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a reliable and organized Property Marketing & Booking Coordinator to support the marketing and booking activities of a unique property located in the Sidaway Road and Westminster Highway area of Richmond, British Columbia.
The property hosts a variety of activities including residential rentals, short-term accommodations, special events, and location-based bookings. The successful candidate will assist with marketing initiatives, inquiry management, booking coordination, and client communications.
This position is well suited for an individual with experience in marketing, hospitality, real estate, property management, or customer service who is comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with marketing and promotional initiatives for the property
- Create, maintain, and update online listings and advertisements
- Respond to inquiries from prospective clients and guests
- Coordinate communications regarding bookings, availability, and property information
- Assist in developing marketing materials and content for digital platforms
- Support outreach efforts to increase awareness of the property and its services
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries and booking activities
- Monitor market trends and provide feedback regarding pricing and marketing opportunities
- Utilize productivity software, communication tools, and AI-assisted applications to improve workflow efficiency
- Perform other related marketing and communications duties as required
Qualifications
Required
- Reside in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Professional, trustworthy, and dependable
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency
- Familiarity with digital marketing, online listings, and communication platforms
- Knowledge of real estate, rental housing, hospitality, or property management environments
Preferred
- Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese)
- Experience with short-term rental platforms, hospitality operations, or event venues
- Experience with social media marketing and digital advertising
- Experience using AI-assisted productivity tools, content creation platforms, and business applications
- Familiarity with the Lower Mainland real estate and rental market
