Territory Representative – Power Tools / Construction Industry
Location: Central Ontario
EAB Exchange-A-Blade is seeking a driven and experienced Territory Representative to manage and grow our presence in Central Ontario. The ideal candidate will reside in Barrie for best coverage of the territory. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a strong background in power tools, home improvement, or the construction industry who thrives on building relationships, and winning new business.
About the Role
As a Territory Representative, you will take ownership of an established customer base while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities. You’ll be on the road regularly (approximately 5,000 km/month and 4–5 hotel nights/month, with a company vehicle provided), working closely with customers to deliver exceptional service and drive sales growth.
What You’ll Do
- Grow and manage existing accounts while prospecting and securing new customers
- Deliver best-in-class service through product expertise and responsive support
- Execute and maintain high-impact in-store merchandising and displays
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with internal teams
- Analyze weekly sales performance to identify trends and opportunities
- Provide product training and education to customers, highlighting EAB’s sustainability programs
- Respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, and follow up on sales opportunities
- Offer technical product support and troubleshooting
- Collect and manage returned/recyclable products as part of our sustainability initiative
What You Bring
- Proven sales experience, ideally in power tools, construction, or home improvement
- Strong track record in account management and business development
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively
- Post-secondary education (preferred)
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
