Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Wireless Retail Sales Associate (Part Time ) to join our team for our Value Mobile Store at East York Town Centre.
In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service and expert product knowledge to our diverse clientele.
The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills, a passion for retail sales, and the ability to engage customers through effective merchandising and product demonstrations.
Added advantage to have an experience in Technology sales or Wireless Sales.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Sell wireless products and plans. Best describe them to the customer and explain features to educate customers on our offerings
- Assess customer needs with respect to the purchase of wireless products, billing inquiries, and equipment/technical challenges
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure shelves are stocked appropriately
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Utilize strong communication skills to engage with diverse customers
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple customers during busy periods
- Assist with inventory management and merchandising tasks as needed
- Ability to stay current with changes in offers/promotions, new products, services and policies to maintain high level product knowledge and services
- Providing exceptional customer support to both current and prospective clients
- Receive and manage the inventory processes
- Review Sales reports on a daily basis
- Any other duties as may be assigned by Management
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred; familiarity with merchandising, POS systems, and cashiering is a plus
- Strong communication skills in English
- Knowledge of technology products or experience in technology sales is advantageous
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in product displays and stock management
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining professionalism
- Experience in product demos, upselling techniques, and technical sales is beneficial
