Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits effectively.
- Engage in technical sales by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate products.
- Utilize merchandising techniques to maintain an attractive sales floor and promote featured items.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Upsell products by identifying opportunities to enhance customer purchases based on their interests.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with restocking shelves as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks during peak hours.
Skills
- Proficiency in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Experience in cannabis sales or technical sales is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette when interacting with customers.
- Familiarity with retail sales practices, including upselling techniques and merchandising strategies.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain store presentation.
