Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations within our restaurant. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train new team members on food safety, food handling, and service procedures
- Monitor cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas in accordance with health regulations
- Assist in menu planning and development to enhance customer satisfaction
- Lead by example in serving customers with professionalism and hospitality
- Maintain effective communication between kitchen staff and front-of-house team
- Enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry standards
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of restaurant management, food safety, and sanitation practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
- Food handling certification or training is highly desirable
