Who we’re looking for:
A passionate individual to fill our full-time/Part time Physiotherapist position for our Strength-N-U Therapy Mississauga location. We are looking for Monday/Wednesday/Friday/Saturday shifts. Pay is commissioned based.
Our team of Physiotherapists, Chiropractors and Massage Therapists cross treat clientele, offering a team-based approach to patient care.

What You’ll Do:
- Educate with patients on symptomatology, medical history, previous/present injuries.
- Evaluate/Assessment of patients to locate painful, injured or tense areas of the body.
- Diagnose health problems by reviewing patients' health and medical history; questioning, observing and examining patients; and reading x-rays/mri reports.
- Provide clients with physiotherapy treatments, gait analysis and biomechanical screens.
- Provide Soft tissue therapy, stretching, exercise/rehab prescription
- Prescribing compression stockings, braces and other orthopedic/assistive devices.
- Provide clients with guidance and information about proper foot wear, rehab, as well as preventive measures.
- Document client’s condition and progress (soap notes).
- Develop and propose client treatment plans that specify which types of services are needed.
- Consult and work with Chiropractors and Massage Therapists on cross treated clients to offer team-based approach to healthcare.
- Provide content and/or appear on screen in social media marketing campaigns
- Submitting all mandatory paperwork to insurance companies.
- Ordering and receiving products as well as dispensing.
- Education Seminars and Events.
- Report Low Inventory to Management.
- Work closely with reception staff to ensure that booking and billing of clients is completed efficiently and accurately.
As a Physiotherapist, you must have:
- Registered and in good standing with your governing colleges (CPO)
- Excellent management and organizational skills
- 2 years work experience is an asset
- Liability Insurance
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team
- Strong skills in critical thinking, decision making and analysis
- Proficient computing skills and the use of: Email, Microsoft Word, Excel
- Proficient use of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients and staff
- Acupuncture is an asset
- Previous MVA and WSIB experience is an asset
