Our client, a well-established industrial manufacturer in the Fergus area, is currently seeking a licensed Industrial Electrician to join their maintenance team on a continental rotating shift.

Pay: $42.93/hr Starting Wage + Premiums + OT
What You’ll Be Doing
- Troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment and production machinery
- Diagnosing electrical breakdowns involving motors, drives, heaters, controls, and instrumentation
- Working with PLCs, drive systems, and automated equipment
- Completing preventative maintenance and repairs
- Updating maintenance records and work orders within a computerized maintenance system
- Supporting continuous operation of manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Valid 309A or 442A Electrician license
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs considered an asset
- Familiarity with AC/DC drives and control systems
- Comfortable using maintenance software and diagnostic tools
- Strong commitment to safety and preventative maintenance practices
Shift Details
- Continental rotating schedule (days and nights)
- 12-hour shifts
- Every second weekend off
