We're looking for someone to run the Cape Spear Cafe kitchen for this upcoming 2026 season!
The Location is at Cape Spear, so reliable transportation is a requirement.
Starting at $20/hour
- Set up and stock food items and other necessary supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly food handling and storage
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and standard operating procedures
- Work with kitchen staff to prepare and cook all dishes on our menu
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
- Manage a small kitchen team
Will need to be able to crouch, stand, walk, and bend. Be able to lift up to 20kg
Must have your own reliable transportation to and from Cape Spear.
Early mornings will be in the schedule rotation.
Certifications:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
Experience REQUIRED:
Restaurant or cafe kitchen experience (minimum 3 years)
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Experience:
- commercial kitchen: 3 years (required)
