Established in 1931, Cutten Fields has grown over the years and now offers a year round venue for casual and fine dining, banquets, weddings, social events and various other functions, as well as Golf & Tennis.
We are looking for a Kitchen Expeditor to join our Food & Beverage Team. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Supervisors, Expo will act as the final quality checkpoint, ensuring all dishes are perfectly presented, accurate to the order, and delivered hot to the table.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Coordination: Review incoming orders from servers, track progress, and organize the kitchen workflow;
- Quality Control: Inspect every dish for presentation, correct ingredients, and temperature before it leaves the kitchen;
- Garnishing & Final Prep: Add final touches (garnishes, sauces, wiping plates) to dishes;
- Communication: Act as the liaison between the Front of House and Back of House, relaying special requests and modifications;
- Timing Management: Ensure all items for a table are finished simultaneously and manage ticket times to ensure prompt service;
- Team Support: Assist in running food to tables and support servers during busy shifts. Helping in banquets with set-ups during slow periods;
- Other duties as required.
The person we are looking for:
- Has a positive, passionate attitude
- Has previous expo experience, although not required!
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Be able to lift 20 lbs.
- Has a flexible schedule – the ability to work days, evenings, weekends & holidays
