We are seeking a General Labourer/Landscape Labourer who enjoys working outdoors in a physically demanding position.
Responsibilities:
- Involves heavy lifting; installing mulch, gravel, rock and/or cement use of transit or line site level.
- Material handling.
- Assist with landscape installs such as mulch, gravel, stone, and soil
- Perform site preparation and cleanup
- Operate basic landscaping tools and equipment
- Perform minor maintenance and care of tools and equipment
- Work safely and efficiently as part of a team
- Assist with other labour duties as required
Requirements:
- Experience working in a physical environment. Must be able to lift 60lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willing to work in all weather environments
- Physically capable of heavy lifting and manual labour
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
- Valid G-class driver’s licence and reliable transportation preferred
- Landscape or construction experience is an asset but not required
