Looking for a full time Server that would be available days Monday - Friday (preferably morning shifts) and weekends (if available). The Benefit of this position as a server would be having weekends off.
Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing POS transactions, and ensuring all food safety standards are met. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with Micros POS systems are highly valued. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Manage POS transactions efficiently using Micros POS or similar systems
- Take orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery of drinks to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling regulations at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously
- Handle cashing out customers, processing payments accurately, and managing cash handling procedures
- Restock bar supplies as needed and monitor inventory levels
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies, including checking IDs when necessary
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy hours
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Familiarity with Micros POS or similar cashiering systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Hospitality experience is desirable but not required; a friendly demeanor is essential
- Must be 18 years or older to serve alcohol legally
